I work to give individual attention to each client. I take the time to understand all of the dimensions of the client's issue or concern; as an attorney in solo practice I have the flexibility to do that. At the same time, I am in a law suite that provides access and consultation with attorneys in many areas of law.

I have lived in New York City since 1976 so I have wide and deep understanding of the City, its business, environment and people.

My extracurricular activities include bread-baking, reading history, travel and keeping up with my wife's theater company.

Richard graduated from American University in Washington, D.C., with a major in finance and accounting in 1987. He waited three years before entering the Southwestern University School of Law in Los Angeles, receiving his Juris Doctor in 1993. He worked briefly as a clerk in the United States Attorney's Office in Las Vegas and then he joined his father Melvyn Jacoby's firm in 1994. Richard is a member of the Suffolk County Bar Association, the New York State Bar Association, the American Bar Association and the National Consumer Bankruptcy Association.

Bruce Richardson received a Bachelor of Science from John Jay College of Criminal Justice, and a Juris Doctorate from the City University of New York School of Law.
