I opened my practice in Alexandria, Alabama, in October 2009, being the first law firm in Alexandria. I represent clients in Calhoun and surrounding counties, including Cleburne, Etowah, Talladega, St. Clair as well as a few other counties.

Christopher Kern has represented individual and business clients for over 25 years in Alabama, and in courts in other states. Because of his vast experience in bankruptcy law, Kern does a substantial amount of creditor and debtor bankruptcy work, including corporate reorganization in Chapter 11. Recognizing that his clients are also involved in other legal matters, Kern is also happy to assist his clients in areas such as wills, real estate, family law and general business matters.

Robert grew up in the Bessemer, Alabama area and graduated from Hueytown High School. After attending The University of Alabama, Robert earned his Juris Doctorate from Birmingham School of Law, where he was an honors graduate and a member of the Mock Trial Team. When away from his practice, Robert and his wife enjoy spending time at the lake with their dogs. Robert practice areas include criminal defense, personal injury, and domestic relations.
