Born and raised in Licking County, Attorney Seth Smith earned his Bachelor’s in Business Administration from Belmont University in Nashville, Tennessee. He went on to graduate from Campbell University School of Law in Raleigh, North Carolina. It is important to move a case forward after a conviction has been affirmed on appeal. Although the Ohio Supreme Court does not accept all criminal appeals, appealing to it will exhaust state remedies to allow federal review of constitutional claims.
