Michael D. Marrs graduated from Michigan State University in 1966, after which he attended the Illinois Institute of Technology, Chicago-Kent College of Law, and earned his Juris Doctor degree in 1970. Following graduation, Mike served as an Assistant U.S. Attorney in the Northern District of Illinois in Chicago from 1970 through 1975, as the Chief of the Narcotics Prosecution Unit. Joseph S. Hughes is 1993 graduate of the State University of New York School of Law. He has been actively practicing law since. He is licensed to practice in Michigan, New York and Pennsylvania. The practice is concenctrated in the area of immigration, sociala security disability, criminal defense, divorce and custody matters, insurance claims and personal taxation. Tim Slais graduated from the University of Michigan with a Bachelor's degree in Political Science. In 1995, he became a Michigan State Police Trooper, and he was assigned to the South Haven Post where he investigated both traffic and criminal complaints. After being shot in the line of duty, Tim retired from the State Police in 2005, and he went on to study law at Thomas M. Cooley Law School.
