Legal Answers
1 Questions Answered
- Q. Lawyer who worked my case and no longer works for the firm contacted me about my settlement?
- A: Sounds fishy. It sounds like you have already settled and received your proceeds and now this former lawyer is calling you if I understand the question. I would not discuss the matter with anyone except the lawyer that actually represented you at the time of settlement. Advise your current lawyer about the contact and let him/her handle it.
