Patrick J. Brickman was admitted to practice law in Ohio in December, 2011. He concentrates his practice in the areas of commercial litigation, business law, and class action litigation. Mr. Brickman graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy from the University of Dayton in 2007. He was awarded his Juris Doctor from the University Of Akron School Of Law in 2011, where he was a member of the University of Akron's Moot Court Team, through which he represented the school in the Lefkowitz Intellectual Property Moot Court Competition in Chicago, IL. Additionally, Mr. Brickman was an Associate Editor for the Akron Law Review and received the CALI "Excellence for the Future" Award in Contract Law. He also received the Kerry A. Migdal Scholarship for "exhibiting a caring and friendly attitude and fostering a sense of camaraderie" amongst his law school colleagues. Before joining Dworken & Bernstein, Mr. Brickman practiced in the area of real estate law, focusing primarily on oil and gas and foreclosure work. Mr. Brickman is a member of the Ohio State Bar Association and the Lake County Bar Association.
