My practice focuses on estate planning and helping investors recover losses caused by unethical or incompetent financial advisers. I am the managing attorney at Basalt Legal PLLC, a law firm nestled in Washington wine country but serving clients throughout Washington State and California.

Born and raised in the Spokane area, I graduated from Whitworth University with a degree in Social Services in 2012. I graduated from Gonzaga Law School in 2017. From the day I applied for law school, family law has been my passion. While in law school, I was the Vice-President, and then President of the Family Law Club. As the mother and stepmother of six kids, I have first-hand experience with many family law issues.

I am a registered U.S. Patent Attorney with an Electrical Engineering degree as well as a Juris Doctor law degree. I have over 20 years experience in patent preparation and prosecution, and have successfully prosecuted hundreds of patent applications to allowance. Importantly, I am dedicated to strong customer service. I believe you deserve timeliness as well as quality. I am currently only accepting new clients with over $30,000 of work (e.g., three patent applications of average complexity).
