Following graduation from law school, I served as a judicial law clerk to the Hon. John McAuliffe on Maryland’s highest appellate court, the Maryland Court of Appeals. I entered private practice and went on to became a partner with the law firm of Furey, Doolan & Abell in Chevy Chase, where my practice centered on business law, family law, and estate litigation. I am admitted to practice in Maryland, DC and Virginia, and have litigated cases in state and federal courts for over 22 years. My practice focuses on construction disputes, leasing and landlord-tenant matters and real estate litigation, including property tax appeals.

Shereese earned her Bachelors in Business Administration from Howard University in 2009, and was awarded her J.D. degree from Charlotte School of Law in 2017. During her law school career, Shereese worked in the School's Wills Practitioner's Clinic where she primarily assisted members of the community with their estate planning needs. Shereese also served as the President of the Christian Legal Society during her final two years of law school. .
