I'm a 1982 graduate of the UCLA School of Law who has been practicing law in Bellevue since that year. My practice emphasizes plaintiff's personal injury and insurance claims, real estate litigation and other civil litigation cases. Before becoming a lawyer, I worked as a copywriter/creative director in advertising and as on-air talent at a commercial radio station. Communication is very important to me, whether with clients, insurance adjusters, opposing counsel or with a judge and jury. Litigation is difficult enough without struggling with your attorney. I try to make the process as easy as possible for my clients.

We practice in Washington and Oregon. Our practice areas are plaintiff personal injury, business and health care law. I graduated from the UW School of Law in 1975.

After raising two children, owning a retail business, and working as a paralegal for many years, I received my B.A. in Criminal Justice at Chapman University. Sonny Nguyen is a Vietnamese American, the first generation of South Vietnamese immigrants in the United States. His father, Thu-Ba Nguyen, was one of the early refugees known as "boat people", who served and was loyal to South Vietnam. After many years of political imprisonment, Thu-Ba took his two-year-old son and fled from their beloved homeland.
