I have been practicing law in Montgomery County, Maryland, as well as Northern Virginia, and the Baltimore area for over 27 years.

My focus is on local businesses that need outside general counsel: both for routine business issues, and for litigation.

I am licensed in Maryland, DC, and Virginia.

I have been practicing since December 2003. Mainly, I practice in estate planning, including Wills, Trusts, and Probates. I also prepare Deeds, Powers of Attorney, Advance Directives, and other estate planning instruments. In addition, I handle adoptions, name changes, and contract reviews, as well as some landlord-tenant issues.

Along with working as an attorney, I have been an adjunct professor with the College of Southern Maryland since 2007. Currently, I teach Business Law I.

Prior to embarking on her legal career Ms. Sausville spent more than a decade with the National Cancer Institute and its contractors working in various facets of oncology drug discovery and development (publications available upon request). More recently Ms. Sausville provided regulatory and legal support for the oncology clinical trials work of the University of Maryland Marlene and Stewart Greenebaum Cancer Center. In support of her clients' needs, Ms. Sausville combines her background and experience in science, public health and the law. Working as a solo practitioner, Ms. Sausville brings personal attention to every client.

Cynthia H. Clark joined the Law Offices of Paula J. Peters in January 2012 after more than 15 years of legal practice both in law firms and corporate firms throughout Maryland and the District of Columbia. In February of 2015, she became a partner in the firm, which changed to Cynthia H. Clark & Associates, P.A. With the retirement of the firm’s founder, Cynthia H. Clark becomes the principal of the new firm, Cynthia H. Clark & Associates, LLC.

Shereese earned her Bachelors in Business Administration from Howard University in 2009, and was awarded her J.D. degree from Charlotte School of Law in 2017. During her law school career, Shereese worked in the School's Wills Practitioner's Clinic where she primarily assisted members of the community with their estate planning needs. Shereese also served as the President of the Christian Legal Society during her final two years of law school. .


Before beginning her legal career, Shereese worked several years in the Office of Sponsored Programs at Howard University

David has tried a multitude of criminal cases throughout Maryland. David is an active participant in the Howard County Bar Association, the Maryland Criminal Defense Attorney’s Association, and the National Criminal Defense Attorney’s Association. Alon Nager graduated from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law in 2003, and was a member of the Pittsburgh Journal of Technology Law and Policy. He is a member of the Maryland and Pennsylvania Bar, and is admitted to the U.S. District Court for the District of Maryland, Eastern District of Pennsylvania, and Western District of Pennsylvania. Prior to Law School, Mr. Nager graduated with a B.A. in Philosophy and Psychology from The State University of New York at Binghamton.
