I have been a lawyer since 2000. My practice focuses on helping people injured on the job and with other employment related concerns and issues such as unpaid wages/overtime, retaliatory termination, and on the job discrimination.

Since 1990, I've helped families in Plantation and cities throughout South Florida with their family law issues. My practice areas include divorce, domestic violence and restraining orders, child support disputes, estate planning, probate and all family law-related matters.

ason Kaufman, formerly a partner in Schmidt and Kaufman, PA., specializes in the area of criminal law. He received his bachelor’s degree in Journalism from the University of Florida in 2000 and freelanced as a photojournalist and an elementary school teacher before going to law school. While obtaining his Juris Doctorate from Nova Southeastern University, Jason was a member of the American Association of Trial Lawyers and was in the Pro Bono Honor Program.
