Founding member Jennifer Espronceda is a lifelong resident of San Antonio. She received her undergraduate degree with honors from Texas A&M University – Corpus Christi and her law degree from the University of Texas at Austin. Having worked for a large, global law firm following graduation, Jennifer delivers business “know-how” with a results-oriented style that provides clients and colleagues with vision, creativity and leadership. Prior to graduating from law school, Jennifer was selected for a judicial internship in the Southern District of Texas where she worked for the Honorable George P. Kazen.

Raised in New Orleans, Louisiana, Shane moved to the Lone Star State as an undergraduate to attend the University of Texas at Austin. After receiving degrees in both Government and History from UT in 1999, he chose to stay in Texas for law school. While attending South Texas College of Law in Houston, TX, Shane worked as a clerk for the prestigious law firm of Gallagher, Lewis, Downey, and Kim. During this time, he gained extensive experience in legal and appellate research and writing and trial preparation working one of the largest settlements in United States history.

Rick Davis graduated from Texas A&M University class of ‘85 where he received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering. While at Texas A&M University, he was a member of the Fight'n Texas Aggie Corps of Cadets and, upon graduation, was commissioned a Second Lieutenant in the United States Army. After becoming a qualified Infantry Officer, he served for ten years in the 49th Armored Division of the Texas Army National Guard as a qualified Armor Officer. Amir Tavakkoli, founder of the firm, was the Vice President of his law school class and graduated Summa Cum Laude. His legal and political experiences include working with Judge Kyle Carter in the 125th Harris County Civil Courthouse, U.S. Representative Al Green, State Representative Garnet Coleman, the Texas Criminal Justice Coalition, and the Houston Bar Association. Amir was also a research assistant at his law school. Amir has successfully tried judge and jury cases in family, criminal, and civil matters.
