Eric grew up in Maryland then attended college at Gettysburg. He went on to graduate from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law.

I received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Mineral Engineering for several mineral production companies. Afterward had gone to school for my MBA and subsequently obtained my law degree. I have worked as a lawyer for a little over 20 years, however, I worked as a paralegal for 7 1/2 prior thereto.

During these many years I have never learned of another lawyer with a mineral engineering degree. I urge you to check your future attorney's qualifications before engaging him, i.e. WOULD YOU HIRE A FOOT DOCTOR TO HAVE YOUR TEETH FIXED!

I focus on helping my clients resolve family disputes privately and respectfully without having the court system impose outcomes on them. I believe that most people are best capable of making decisions for themselves and their families. I also act as a mediator, helping parties reach agreements without going to court. I want my clients to be fully informed of all their options for handling family disputes so they can make informed decisions. I also prepare prenuptial agreements, cohabitation agreements and estate plans.

Attorney Justin P. Miller’s clients benefit from his extensive experience and knowledge gained from representing hundreds of clients as a public defender and working as a judicial law clerk. He has made hundreds of court appearances, including nearly daily appearances while working in the busy Centre County Public Defender Office. My office was founded in Millersburg, Dauphin County in 1951 by Attorney Allen Shaffer. Since I joined the Firm in 1999, I took over as managing partner in 2001 and later as sole shareholder in 2006. Born in Scranton Pennsylvania but a resident of Lancaster County since infancy, Sam is a graduate of Manheim Township High School in 1966, where he was a member of the County championship tennis team for two years, a member of the National Honor Society, and the Candlelight Singers (a cappella group). He received the Access to Justice Award in 2002 from the Lancaster Bar Association for pro bono work, and was elected President of the LBA in 2006.
