She attended college at Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, and obtained her J.D. from American University Washington College of Law in 2004. Zanita Zacks-Gabriel has lived in Harbor Creek, Pennsylvania her entire life and has practiced law in Erie for over 40 years. She graduated from Harbor Creek High School in 1968 as Valedictorian.
