Cynthia H. Clark joined the Law Offices of Paula J. Peters in January 2012 after more than 15 years of legal practice both in law firms and corporate firms throughout Maryland and the District of Columbia. In February of 2015, she became a partner in the firm, which changed to Cynthia H. Clark & Associates, P.A. With the retirement of the firm’s founder, Cynthia H. Clark becomes the principal of the new firm, Cynthia H. Clark & Associates, LLC.

Shereese earned her Bachelors in Business Administration from Howard University in 2009, and was awarded her J.D. degree from Charlotte School of Law in 2017. During her law school career, Shereese worked in the School's Wills Practitioner's Clinic where she primarily assisted members of the community with their estate planning needs. Shereese also served as the President of the Christian Legal Society during her final two years of law school. .


Before beginning her legal career, Shereese worked several years in the Office of Sponsored Programs at Howard University

Mr. Hannon came into the law after having served the nation as a Marine officer, where he earned numerous awards and distinctions for his service, as well as a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Political Science from Penn State University and a Master of Arts Degree in International Relations from Salve Regina University. Mr. Hannon went on to attain his law degree. David was born and raised in Baltimore. He attended Calvert Hall College High School and Graduated from Towson University with a B.A. in International Studies. After spending over 5 years as a Securities Analyst for a Fortune 500 Financial Firm, he attended the University of Baltimore School of Law. During law school David was a student attorney for three semesters with the University's Family Law Clinic. Joshua A. Welborn is a trial attorney whose practice includes domestic and family law, criminal defense, personal injury, bankruptcy and general civil litigation matters. Joshua has been representing individuals and families in Calvert County and throughout Southern Maryland for over six years. Joshua earned a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry and a minor in history from the University of Maryland Baltimore County in 2005.
