After nearly a decade long career as a classroom teacher, I decided to make a change and pursue a life-long dream of going to law school. I graduated Cum Laude from Washburn Law School in 2003. During law school, I participated in Law Journal, Moot Court, and Law Clinic. I set for and passed the Kansas bar in the summer of 2003 and then I took and passed the Missouri bar in 2004. Directly after law school, I had the honor of working directly with the late Judge Elliott of the Kansas Court of Appeals as a research attorney. I then worked briefly with a local attorney in Lawrence, prior to starting my own practice in November of 2005.

Christopher brings to the table legal experience in a number of areas, including nonprofit creation/governance, immigration, and general civil matters.

He received his Juris Doctor from the Washburn School of Law, and his Bachelor's in English from the University of North Dakota. Prior to law school, he taught high school English, and briefly served in state government.

Chris is a native of northeastern North Dakota, but proudly claims Kansas and its mild winters as his home. Whether or not he is in the office, Chris harbors the desire to write the great American novel.
