Patrice's entire career has been in community work: protecting the community from registered sex offenders, protecting abused, abandoned, and neglected children and helping families at risk of homelessness and other legal matters jeopardizing their safety and stability. Her career further focuses on the service of veterans, people living with HIV/AIDS, LGBTQ+, victims of domestic violence, and the elderly. Patrice is actively engaged in collaboration with Broward community partners, strategic planning, and program design. She has presented at national conferences regarding the law and particularly how it impacts vulnerable communities and how innovative solutions reach those target populations.

Sandra received her Juris Doctor from Florida International University College of Law in 2015 from where she graduated cum laude. While in law school, Sandra had the opportunity to intern for the Honorable Jose Rodriguez at the Eleventh Judicial Circuit and at the Staff Attorney's Office in the Broward County Courthouse.
