I focus on helping my clients resolve family disputes privately and respectfully without having the court system impose outcomes on them. I believe that most people are best capable of making decisions for themselves and their families. I also act as a mediator, helping parties reach agreements without going to court. I want my clients to be fully informed of all their options for handling family disputes so they can make informed decisions. I also prepare prenuptial agreements, cohabitation agreements and estate plans.

I am a trial lawyer with more than 30 years of litigation experience. I represent individuals in matters involving personal injury litigation, estate planning and administration, real estate sales and development, domestic issues, and business litigation. During my professional career, I have had the opportunity to litigate in multiple state and federal courts, and have handled matters ranging from those merely about money and property, to those involving more vital issues such as civil rights, personal liberty, child welfare, and eldercare. At times, I have been disappointed with our admittedly flawed and cumbersome legal system, but more often I am...

In order to stand out from the crowd, I offer fixed reasonable fees for the work I do. 1/2 is due upfront and the other 1/2 is not due until completion. This way, the sooner I get your job done, the sooner I get paid! I think of myself as a neighborhood lawyer type. I...

I first thought of pursuing a career as an attorney when I was taking a course in the inequalities of our judicial system during my undergrad work at Penn State. By the time I finished that course, I had made up my mind to attend law school and become an attorney. Once I graduated law school and passed the Bar Exam, the first area of law I practiced was a Pro-Bono case involving child custody. Today I still practice Family Law as well as Real Estate and Estate Planning, Criminal, Business, Probate and Contracts.

Your lawyer should know the law. What sets a lawyer apart is the ability to tell your story. Not a fictional story but the real life narrative about what someone else's carelessness did to you and those you love. I spend my time exploring and understanding your story so my clients know the person fighting for them knows them. It is called personal injury because the things that happen are deeply personal.
