After more than 15 years of litigation in criminal, civil, and family law cases, I have been appointed to the Beaverton Municipal Court as a full-time judge. I am thankful for all my past clients and colleagues and I look forward to a full-time career in public service. As a judge, I cannot provide legal advice to anyone. I grew up in Portland Oregon as middle of five children. I attended Grant High School and later the University of Oregon. After spending a few years working various jobs and traveling, I returned to the University of Oregon for law school with the goal of using my education to help those who need it most. There, I focused on criminal law.

After law school I returned to Portland and worked at Metropolitan Public Defender (MPD) where I represented thousands of people charged with crimes ranging from misdemeanors to major felonies, including murder.
