While at Rutgers, Ron received the "Corpus Juris Secundum Award" for Most Significant Contribution to Overall Legal Scholarship at the law school. He was also appointed Associate Editor of the Rutgers-Camden Law Journal. In September 1973 Ron accepted a position as judicial clerk with Mitchell H.Cohen, at that time the Chief Judge of the New Jersey Federal System.
