- Q. can I get arrested for using something I was told I can use?
- A: As an 18 year old adult, or anyone of any age, for that matter, I would suggest that you not take the mower. As I understand it, he has told you that you are no longer welcome to it; taking it without his consent could be problematic for you. I would just speak to the owner of the yard and explain you've lost access to your equipment or speak to your Dad again in hopes he changes his mind. Good luck!
- Q. Guardian, ad litem and Judge interview 14 year old son, in chambers off the record. Why would they do it off the record
- A: I can't explain why they did it off record as I was not there but in GAL cases wherein there is a minor involved the Court and court-appointed GAL have the minor's 'best interest' in mind so whatever the decision I assume it was believed to be the in minor's best interest.
- Q. I bought a used truck and the transmission failed within 3 days what can I do
- A: Typically, used vehicles are sold as-is. Lemon laws vary from state to state but generally speaking, they only involve brand spanking new vehicles purchased directly from a dealership that has had multiple failed attempts to fix the same issue. Again, these exact parameters are not true for every state but since you indicated this was a used car you may have some issues in this area. You might just want to talk directly to the seller and see if they are able to offer you any relief.
