William J. Leininger
Mr. Leininger is a native New Yorker who attended Regis High School in Manhattan, St. Francis College in Brooklyn, and Fordham Law School at Lincoln Center in Manhattan. He graduated Fordham Law School in 1974 with the rank of #1 in his Evening Division. He is licensed to practice law in New York, New Jersey and Florida. He has appeared on National TV shows including The Today Show on NBC, the CBS Morning Show, the Phil Donahue Show, the Sally Jessie Raphael Show, and has lectured on Divorce for 40 years.
Mr. Leininger became the first attorney in Staten Island to be certified as a Divorce Mediator in 1994. Since then he has mediated over 860 Divorce Mediations, involving assets of up to $15 million dollars as well as difficult custody disputes.
After litigating difficult divorce cases for 40 years, he now limits his law practice to Divorce Mediation in New York and Florida, Uncontested Divorces and Mediation of PreNuptial Agreements.
Mr. Leininger offers couples a Free Zoom videoconference Consultation regarding Divorce Mediation and offers those Free Consultations Monday thru Saturday between 10 AM and 8 PM subject to his other appointments. Couples who utilize his Mediation Services can save up to 90% in legal fees as compared to a fully contested divorce which includes a Court Trial, and can often spare their children from the terrible stress which a divorce trial can involve.
If you and your spouse decide to hire Mr. Leininger, the initial Retainer Deposit is only $2,500, which is usually split between the spouses based upon their respective incomes.
