Biography

I have been practicing Criminal Defense since 2005. I began as a paid legal intern for the Public Defender's Office in Orlando while still in Law School and remained working there after passing the Florida Bar and becoming an attorney.

With over 60 Jury Trials under my belt, I have established a reputation as a fearless attorney - ready, willing, and eager to take any case to trial.

Whether a case goes to Trial is a decision entirely up to the defendant, but it is important to know that you have an attorney ready to do so, should you choose.

I have handled cases ranging from petit theft to robbery and murder. I also handle Injunctions.

Not every case is a Trial case, and many client's with to resolve their cases without a Jury Trial. There are many alternatives to going to Trial, and careful planning is required to find the result best suited to each client.

Call me and we can discuss which route is best for you.

Legal Answers
37 Questions Answered
Q. If I’m on pre-trial intervention and have no prior convictions can I still vote in bay county Florida
A: Yes. You would have to be a convicted felon to lose your voting rights. Sounds like you are not convicted of anything; and you will not be if you complete PTI.
Q. Can a person get convicted for BATTERY: BY PERSON DETAINED IN PRISON OR JAIL FACILITY if the victim don't cooperate
A: Yes. The State needs evidence, however, like a witness. They also have to prove identification of the Victim, which is difficult. The State often tries to introduce inadmissible hearsay evidence to do this.
Q. The state has a offer do I have to take at arraignment?
A: Well, the state does not need to make an offer. They can go all the way to trial and never make you an offer. They can revoke the offer at anytime.
