Tammy Avery Weber
Attorney Weber graduated Magna Cum Laude from Lycoming College in 1983 and graduated from Temple University with her law degree in 1986. She was selected as a federal judicial law clerk for The Hon. Louis C. Bechtle, Federal District Judge, Eastern District of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia. She then accepted a position as an Assistant United States Attorney for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania.
In 2001, Attorney Weber returned to Central Pennsylvania. She joined the firm in 2004, becoming a Principal of Marshall, Parker & Weber in 2010 and assumed the role of Managing Principal in 2011. Attorney Weber is part of an elite group of attorneys who have undergone the extensive process to become a Certified Elder Law Attorney by the National Elder Law Foundation under Authorization of the Pennsylvania Supreme Court. The CELA certification requires an in-depth, working knowledge of the complex estate and long-term care issues that seniors can face.
Attorney Weber is an active member of various professional and community organizations. She is a past chair of the Pennsylvania Bar Association’s Elder Law Section, Chair of the Lycoming Law Association’s Community Activities and Outreach Committee, and past President of the Lycoming Law Association. Attorney Weber is Chair of the First Community Foundation Partnership of Pennsylvania, Secretary of FCFP’s Properties, Inc., past Chair of the President’s Leadership Council for Lycoming College, Trustee for Lycoming College and President-elect for the Pennsylvania Association of Elder Law Attorneys. She is a member of the Northcentral Pennsylvania Estate Planner’s Council and the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys. She also serves on the Ethics Advisory Board for Albright LIFE and is a member of the American Inn of Courts. She was selected by her peers for inclusion in The Best Lawyers in America® 2021 Edition in the field of Trusts and Estates.
