Stephanie entered the United States Air Force as a First Lieutenant and joined the Judge Advocate General’s Corps in 2011. Her service spanned from 2011 to 2018, during which she rose to the rank of Major. In her tenure, Stephanie garnered acclaim as one of the Air Force's most distinguished litigators, driven by her unwavering work ethic, innate courtroom abilities, and unwavering commitment to her clients.
As Chief of Military Justice at a premier military justice base, Stephanie oversaw the prosecution of numerous criminal trials, demonstrating her prowess in navigating complex legal proceedings while personally handling criminal cases and advising federal law enforcement investigations.
Transitioning to Defense Counsel, Stephanie advocated for hundreds of Air Force members facing legal challenges across the nation. Her repertoire encompassed a spectrum of charges, from rape and sexual assault to drug offenses, showcasing her adeptness in collaborating with experts and navigating intricate legal landscapes.
Recognized for her courtroom prowess, Stephanie was handpicked by The Judge Advocate General to serve as a Senior Trial Counsel, a position reserved for the Air Force's most elite prosecutors. Her tenure was marked by prosecuting high-profile cases ranging from conspiracy to financial fraud, earning accolades for her contributions to legal education and critical analysis of the military justice system.
Despite her success as a prosecutor, Stephanie decided to transition to civilian practice, driven by her desire to champion the rights of those accused of crimes. Since February 2019, she has dedicated herself entirely to defending service members, utilizing her insider knowledge of prosecutorial tactics to vigorously advocate for her clients. From representing clients across all branches of the military to assisting veterans in rectifying errors in their records, Stephanie's commitment to justice remains unwavering.
