Sharrard Deshard Owens

Texas-educated, Houston native Sharrard Owens has been an attorney with J.D. Silva & Associates since 2020, focusing his practice on personal injury and criminal defense litigation. Sharrard has worked in the legal industry since 2013, working at multiple noteworthy law firms in the region for his practice areas. He is a trial lawyer who has experience at every stage of litigation, from filing lawsuits through appeals. In addition to his work with J.D. Sharrard graduated from Prairie View A&M University with a Bachelor of Science in Business Finance in 2009. He earned his law degree from Texas Southern University Thurgood Marshall School of Law in 2013. After law school, he obtained a Master of Laws in Sports Law from St. John’s University School of Law.
