Scott worked for nearly 30 years in Seattle, and is a founding member of Yarmuth Wilsdon PLLC, where he continues to practice today. Scott’s clients include multinational corporations, incumbent technology companies and startups, and authors, artists and musicians. Scott and his wife, Michelle, grew up on the Monterey Peninsula and returned in 2017. Since his return, Scott has helped local businesses, entrepreneurs and artists in business and litigation matters. - Q. have lease agreement for weed cultivation license. Bureau of canna control said subletting is illegal Is contract void?
- A: I agree with the advice already given about the importance of sitting down with a lawyer to review your agreement. The only additional point I would make is that current regulations governing licensed cannabis operations prohibit subletting. (Cal. Code Regs. Title 4, Section 15000.4; effective 9/27/2021).
