Naomi Kemper Lumpkin
From the beginning of her career at a small family law firm, Naomi Lumpkin has brought passion and devotion to family law. Throughout her career, she has continued to focus on the field with a deep commitment and dedication to adoption after also personally being adopted. This allows her to bring personal experience and an innate empathy to families to her work as well as continued professional success in fighting for families. In addition to adoption, one of Naomi’s greatest strengths is helping families “see the light at the end of the tunnel” in difficult situations, specifically divorce, which is clearly a trying time for all involved.
During law school, Naomi was a legislative intern for the Council for Superior Court Judges where she created an evidence ready reference sheet comparing the new and old Georgia evidence code. She further clerked for the Honorable Judge Kimberly Adams, and she was also the President of the Black Law Students Association and a member of the Family Law Society and the Criminal Law Society. Naomi earned her Juris Doctorate from Georgia State University College of Law and is a summa cum laude graduate of the University of North Carolina-Wilmington with an honors Bachelor's in English Literature and a minor in French. She was also recently voted Client’s Choice Attorney in Family Law on AVVO.
Naomi lives in East Cobb with her husband, their sons, Ian and Nathaniel and their dog, Bailey. She is an avid Carolina Tar Heel fan, a member of the Atlanta Track Club and enjoys running and outdoor activities
