I am a licensed attorney with 25 years experience as a civil defense litigator and trial lawyer. For most of my practice I specialized in Personal Injury Defense with a sub-specialty in Medical Malpractice, Premises Liability and Intentional Torts. I also represented a Medical Captive Insurance Company as lead attorney, advising the Board on Risk Management issues and representing the insured doctors in litigation. I have tried cases to verdict in many counties in Illinois. I was chosen by Nautilus Insurance company to represent its insured in lawsuits in Cook County, including Multi-Million dollar Construction injury cases. I am also involved in a start up food business with a brick and mortar and online shipping as Business Director and CEO. I am knowledgeable about the Wedding and Events industry and many of my current clients are creatives and small business owners.
I have business experience, both as law firm manager and starting three law firms; as well as a food start-up. I am actively involved with marketing, website design, graphic design, and social media management.
I currently have a private practice offering legal and business consulting to professionals and businesses. I am a neutral Mediator with specialty areas in Personal Injury, Medical Malpractice, Sexual Abuse and Intentional Torts, as well as Medical Ethics. I also offer Consulting and Coaching services to lawyers and law firms. I write for the Legal Seller blog and the Inspired JD blog.
