Michael J. Schostok joined Salvi, Schostok & Pritchard P.C. in 2019, focusing on catastrophic personal injury and medical malpractice cases. He has secured significant verdicts and settlements, including a $15 million personal injury settlement and a $3.9 million medical malpractice settlement. Early in his career with the firm, Mr. Schostok achieved a $3.73 million verdict for a pedestrian struck by a drowsy driver.
Before becoming an Associate, he served as a law clerk at the firm, contributing to numerous high-profile cases. He also gained experience as a law clerk at another Chicago personal injury firm. Mr. Schostok earned his Juris Doctor from Chicago-Kent College of Law in 2019, where he was part of the prestigious Trial Advocacy Team. He completed his undergraduate studies in Political Science at the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 2016.
As the son of the late Partner Michael P. Schostok, Michael J. Schostok feels honored to continue his family’s legacy at the firm. He expresses pride in his profession and looks forward to advocating for victims of negligence.
Mr. Schostok is active in legal organizations such as the Illinois State Bar Association and the Illinois Trial Lawyers Association. Additionally, he serves on the board of the Michael Matters Foundation, a charity supporting individuals with brain cancer.
Outside of work, Mr. Schostok enjoys music, movies, and traveling.
