Maxwell Newsome is a sharp, young attorney who represents clients in probate, trust, security clearance, appellate advocacy (Civil and Criminal), and general civil litigation matters. Maxwell has the eagerness and expertise you are looking for in an attorney.
Maxwell is a graduate of Cornerstone University, which he attended on a bowling and academic scholarship. He then graduated from the University of Dayton School of Law and its and Leadership Honors Program. While at Dayton, Maxwell competed in the Attorney General Mock Trial Competition, where he won a Best Attorney award. He was also the Outside Articles Editor on the Dayton Law Review and had his article, “A Constitutional Right to Asylum? A Comparative Analysis Could Ground the Design of Better Protection for Asylum Seekers,” published in 2022.
Maxwell is an active member of the Dayton Bar Association and participates in the Young Lawyers Division, Appellate Court Practice Section, and Estate Planning, Trust & Probate Law Section. He is also a member of the Ohio State Bar Association and a part of its Young Lawyers section and Estate Planning, Trust, and Probate Law section.
Originally from Michigan, Maxwell and his wonderful wife have made Kettering, Ohio their home. He enjoys gardening, bowling, golfing, watching sports, and playing with his old dog, Trout.
