In some instances he has also helped some of clients wrongfully charged with crimes obtain dismissals of criminal complaints for those wrongfully charged. In 2008, Mr. Thiel completed training with the Strauss Institute of The Pepperdine University School of Law, and has since that time provided services as a mediator in helping parties resolve their disputes in cases pending in the Superior Courts of California. Mr. Thiel currently serves on a panel of preferred mediators for the San Joaquin County Superior Court. Mr. Thiel has also served as an arbitrator in civil cases.
