Kaylee Jene Rush
Hunt Law Firm
Kaylee Rush grew up in rural east Texas and attended undergraduate university at the University of Texas at Arlington before settling in Houston, where she attended law school at South Texas College of Law Houston. While in law school, Kaylee earned multiple academic honors including the Dean's Merit scholarship and several CALI awards and participated in the Randall O. Sorrels Legal Clinics. Kaylee also completed a 2-year state district family court clerkship as a law student.
Prior to law school, Kaylee discovered her passion for serving her community as a reporter for a small local newspaper, finding that the media we consume is particularly important during times of crisis. Kaylee feels that connecting with clients on a personal level is just as important in an effective family law practice as it is when engaging readers. Kaylee understands that hiring an attorney can be stressful and often comes at a time when individuals are already overwhelmed. She takes the time to thoroughly review the legal process and options with clients, guiding them through each step of the process to find the best long-term outcome.
Kaylee spends her free time with her partner and their pets, an energetic German Shepherd and a precocious kitten, baking, and listening to true crime podcasts.
