Kathy Lucas

First-generation American Attorney Kathy H. Lucas is a former New Jersey resident who now lives and works in Raleigh, NC where she practices family law exclusively. Attorney Lucas devotes her considerable legal knowledge and skills to such issues as divorce, child custody and support, post-separation support, division of marital property, separation agreements, adoption, and other family law issues. She also helps clients come to mutually-agreeable terms through her collaborative law practice. She passed the test required by the North Carolina State Bar to be recognized as a Board Certified Specialist in Family Law in 2011, an achievement attained by less than two percent of state attorneys. This certification is the highest level of legal training and professional recognition available, cementing her career as a legal expert in her field.
