Eric Hagen
Liberty Law Group
Eric Hagen is driven by a lifelong commitment to service. Before becoming an attorney, he served as an officer in the United States Marine Corps, an experience that continues to shape his dedication to protecting others. Eric earned both his Juris Doctor and a Master’s in Negotiation and Conflict Resolution from Creighton University School of Law. During his time at Creighton, he was an editor for the Creighton Law Review, president of the Military Law Society, a member of Phi Delta Phi International Legal Honor Society, and was recognized with multiple awards for academic excellence and leadership.
A proud representative of the Pat Tillman Foundation, Eric was honored as Nebraska’s inaugural Tillman Scholar—part of a distinguished national group selected for their commitment to service beyond self.
Eric brings the same intensity and principle to the courtroom that he once brought to military service. As a criminal defense attorney, personal injury advocate, and litigator, he is known for his tireless advocacy, strategic precision, and compassionate client care. He continues his service through the Veterans Legal Support Network, helping protect the earned benefits of servicemembers and veterans. The oath he swore as a Marine—to support and defend the Constitution—remains central to his work in the legal field.
Eric’s excellence has been recognized by The National Trial Lawyers: Top 40 Under 40 for criminal defense in Nebraska, and he is a recipient of the Martindale-Hubbell Client Champion award.
He lives in Elkhorn with his wife and four children. Outside the courtroom, Eric stays involved in his community—coaching rugby and football, serving on the board of the Nebraska Youth Rugby Association, and volunteering with his church and local nonprofits.
