Facing legal challenges can be daunting and frightening, given the complexities and occasional injustices of our legal system. My aim is to demystify the process by helping clients understand their rights. I always put my clients first, listening attentively to understand their unique needs and expectations. I am committed to responding promptly to phone calls and emails, and I advocate vigorously and effectively for my clients' rights. Everyone deserves to have their voice heard, and I work to ensure that my clients' voices resonate clearly.
My practice primarily revolves around family-related legal matters including adoption, divorce, custody, child support, maintenance, and surrogacy contracts. Local judges routinely appoint me as a guardian ad litem in cases concerning high conflict custody and placement issues. I adopt a holistic and compassionate approach to family law, promoting mediation, settlement meetings, and conferences when suitable. However, I also recognize that some matters necessitate judicial resolution.
I was born and raised in northeast Wisconsin and graduated from Lawrence University in 2007 with degrees in government and Spanish. I earned my law degree from William Mitchell College of Law in 2011.
I now reside in Wisconsin Rapids with my husband Jamin, our three children, two dogs, and three cats in what we affectionately call our "cabin in the woods." We cherish our time outdoors, whether exploring the woods or gardening together. We are planning to expand our lively household with chickens next spring. When not occupied with family activities, I enjoy reading chick lit, which I fondly call “the Hallmark versions of books,” lifting heavy weights at our local YMCA, and experimenting in the kitchen.
