Caleb Tarver
A legal safe haven where business owners feel empowered to build boldly.
Caleb Tarver is a third-generation small business owner, seasoned tax professional, and the founding attorney of Havenspire Law, a modern law firm designed to serve as a legal safe haven for entrepreneurs, founders, nonprofits, and growing businesses across North Carolina.
With a strong foundation in business, tax, and regulatory law, Caleb understands both the legal and practical realities of running a business. His work is deeply informed by lived experience, having grown up in a family of business owners and later guiding clients through complex transactions, contracts, and compliance strategies. Caleb brings clarity, confidence, and concierge-level support to every stage of the business lifecycle, from launch to growth to succession.
Caleb began his legal career in international tax with KPMG, advising corporate clients on cross-border strategy and compliance. He later joined a boutique law firm focusing on business, real estate, and litigation, where he adopted a high-touch, responsive approach to client service. He has served as an adjunct professor of tax law at New England Law | Boston, where he earned his J.D. cum laude and completed a specialized Tax Law Certificate. This rare combination of hands-on legal experience and academic training enables him to deliver legal counsel that is both technically sound and grounded in real-world context.
Havenspire Law was born from Caleb’s belief that small and medium-sized businesses deserve more than transactional support. They need a long-term legal partner who understands their goals, protects their vision, and creates legal strategies that help them grow boldly. The firm reflects this philosophy with a commitment to personalized service, transparency, and empowerment through knowledge.
Now based in the Research Triangle area of North Carolina, Caleb works closely with founders, nonprofits, and business owners of all kinds, from side hustlers and startups to family-owned companies and social entrepreneurs.
