Sadat Montgomery is a Dallas personal injury attorney who takes pride in not only getting his clients the compensation they deserve, but also in ensuring his clients receive the medical care they need following a serious injury.

Sadat primarily handles personal injury and wrongful death cases, often resulting from car crashes, motorcycle wrecks, work accidents, defective products, slip and fall accidents, and more.

Upon receiving his Juris Doctor degree from the SMU Dedman School of Law and being admitted to practice law in the State of Texas, Sadat founded Montgomery Law.

Sadat’s experience in the pharmaceutical industry has given him the opportunity to build relationships with some of the top physicians in the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex, often giving his clients access to the best medical treatment for their injuries. His competitive background in sports has prepared him for the combat that takes place in a courtroom. The sales training he received from some of the top organizations in the country has sharpened his natural ability to connect with people, making him a highly effective trial attorney in front of a judge and jury.

5 Questions Answered

Q. Who would be at fault if someone was parked on the side of the road and opened their door as a vehicle was passing
A: Most-likely the door opener. He or she generally has a duty to first check for approaching traffic--whether that be a vehicle or even a cyclist--if the door would open into a lane of travel.
Q. I need a lawyer regarding a car accident in tx
A: Were you injured in the accident? If so, you can reach out to a personal injury lawyer (or two) to discuss your options. Almost every personal injury law firm in Texas offers free consultations by phone or email. On the other hand, if you're concerned about a citation you received because of the accident, you would want to speak to a criminal defense lawyer.
Q. The woman who hit my car claimed the only reason she swerved into me was because a coffee she'd ordered from a fast food
A: No. Your claim is against the negligent driver. McDonald's owed no duty to you. SHE may have a separate claim of her own against McDonald's, but that doesn't concern you as they were not party to the accident.
Q. How long after an accident can you still file a lawsuit against the other driver?
A: In Texas, you generally have two years (from the date of injury) until the statute of limitations runs. There are a lot of additional factors involved though, so I strongly recommend seeking out a free consultation with an attorney in your area who can advise you how best to move forward.
Q. Had a car accident yesterday. There were no physical injury. I am looking to sue the person that hit me.
A: I would recommend searching for an attorney who handles "diminished value" property damage claims in El Paso. The bad part is that you may find it difficult to find an attorney who will take such a case on contingency (no-win no-fee), but there's no harm in reaching out to a couple of law firms for a free consultation.
