Amanda Owens
Passionate advocate for the rights of the elderly and those with special needs
A native of Lancaster, Ohio, Amanda graduated in 2008, Magna Cum Laude, from The Ohio State University with a Bachelor of Arts in English. She graduated from the University of Toledo College of Law in 2011. While in Law School, Amanda interned with the Ohio Sixth District Court of Appeals.
With a concentration on Elder and Special Needs Law, Amanda began practicing with White & Allen, PA in 2017. She is a zealous advocate for the elderly and disabled rights' for public benefit, including navigating the laws governing Special Assistance Medicare, and Medicaid. Her practice area also includes Incompetency and Guardianship matters as well as assisting elderly and disabled victims of exploitation.
Amanda, is very proud to serve military families and assist Veterans with questions regarding their benefits. She is accredited for the preparation, presentation and prosecution of claims for Veteran’s benefits before the Department of Veterans Affairs.
Amanda is licensed to practice law in the state of Ohio, all North Carolina State Courts and the United States District Court – Eastern District of North Carolina.
When she is not working she enjoys spending time with her family, listening and playing music, painting, and watching football and baseball. Amanda is proud to call North Carolina home. She takes pride in her local community and appreciates the opportunity to serve families in the eastern part of the State.
