Eva Segert-Tauger is working as a staff attorney for Legal Aid of West Virginia. She was in private solo practice focusing on family law, Social Security Disability/SSI, and immigration law in 2007-2011. She worked for Legal Aid of West Virginia previously from 2002 to 2006. She served as an adjunct instructor and supervising attorney for the West Virginia University College of Law Immigration Clinic in Spring 2008. She also taught courses on Eastern Europe at West Virginia University in 2008-2010.

He went on to achieve a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance and Management from Marshall University, graduating cum laude in 1994.
