Sam started her career at the Cook County Public Defender’s Office in Chicago and moved to the Pacific Northwest in 2015 where she began working for the Snohomish County Public Defender Association. There, she quickly advanced from misdemeanor to felony attorney, also representing clients in appellate cases and involuntary treatment matters. She is qualified under indigent defense standards to represent clients on homicides, Class A, B, and C felonies, in addition to sex offenses.
