Bryce grew up on a farm in central Washington. The oldest of seven kids, long hours in the 100 degree heat of central Washington state, pulling weeds in the bean fields and placing bees in alfalfa fields taught Bryce several important lessons; first, that working those long hours in the hot sun was not for him and second, that the work ethic necessary to do field work could be better applied to helping people. Megan Chang-Ngaruiya was born in Kailua, Hawaii and grew up in Eastern Washington. She graduated summa cum laude from Walla Walla University in 2005 with a degree in business administration and went on to receive her Juris Doctorate in 2008, graduating cum laude, from Gonzaga University.
