Akshat emigrated from India and is a naturalized United States citizen. He has lived on four continents and speaks five languages: English, Gujarati, Hindi, Spanish, and Catalan. His professional activities have included the Rotary Club of Bellevue, the South Asian Bar Association of Washington, and the Eastside Legal Assistance Program. In the spare time he finds between his practice and family, Akshat focuses on improving his photography skills and appreciating the culture, tactics, and business of soccer/fútbol.

Russ Mead is a business attorney who for the last several years has served as general counsel for two of the nation’s most notable animal welfare non-profits, Best Friends Animal Society and Farm Sanctuary. He is also a founder and general counsel for Animal Law Coalition. He is licensed as an attorney in Washington and Utah. In 1991, Attorney Susan Alexander earned her Juris Doctor Law Degree, with cum laude honors, from Gonzaga University School of Law. She has been licensed to practice law in Washington State since 1991. Attorney Alexander began her law career as a clerk with the United States Attorney’s Office in the Eastern District of Washington. She later served as a Judicial Law Clerk in the Nevada Supreme Court, and as a King County Deputy Prosecuting Attorney.
