I've been a criminal defense lawyer for 21 years. I represent clients accused of sex offenses, violent crimes, financial crimes, DUI and drug offenses. Over the course of my career I have tried over 60 cases to jury verdict. I pride myself in communicating with my clients and keeping them informed about the status of their case.

I spent my formative years in hard-working farming communities in Northern Utah and Southeast Idaho. After high school, I moved to Provo, went on an LDS mission to Spain for two years, and eventually received a Bachelor’s degree in political science from BYU in 2007. Eric earned his bachelor’s degree in organizational communication and business from Brigham Young University – Idaho and his Juris Doctor from the UNLV Boyd School of Law.
