Ernest Istook's legal work centers around litigation to remedy the wrongs which people encounter. This includes personal injury, medical malpractice, defective products, wrongful taking of property, business disagreements, real estate disputes, will contests, financial frauds, and untangling other challenging situations.

Ernest has been practicing law since 1977, but took a time out to serve 14 years as U.S. Congressman for Oklahoma’s 5th District, part of 25 years he served in federal, state and local office. He is licensed to practice law in Utah, Oklahoma, the United States Supreme Court and other federal courts.

Dallas graduated from Albany Law School in Albany, New York in 2008. Before joining Ivie & Young, he clerked for Judge David N. Mortensen in the Fourth District Court in Utah. Dallas represents the fourth generation of the Young family to practice at Ivie & Young.

I received my bachelor’s degree from the University of Utah in 2010. I then went to The University of Denver and received my J.D. in 2013. I have been practicing as an attorney in the area of personal injury for 8 years. Growing up I always wanted to become an attorney. My father is an attorney and I always looked up and admired him.
