Mary Flood is a Harvard-educated lawyer and a 30-year award-winning veteran of newspaper reporting who currently works at Androvett Legal Media & Marketing consulting with lawyers and law firms about the media. Flood previously covered the courts and lawyers for the Houston Chronicle and the Wall Street Journal’s Texas Journal. She practiced law in Washington, D.C. and in Houston, Tx. She’s also taught media law and ethics as an adjunct professor in the School of Communications at University of Houston.

Kacie Penman was born and raised in Cypress, Texas, where she was a competitive cheerleader and dancer. For undergrad, she attended Oklahoma State University where she studied strategic communications and international business. She graduated with honors and was a member of the Zeta Tau Alpha sorority. Kacie then returned to Houston to begin her law school education at South Texas College of Law Houston (STCLH), where she also graduated with honors.
