I hail from Clarksville, Tennessee, where I have been practicing law for eighteen years. I am a second-generation attorney, continuing the legacy of legal practice in my family. I am married and have been for sixteen years, and together we have three children. In my practice, I focus on family law, handling cases that range from child custody and support to divorce, orders of protection, and domestic violence. I am fortunate to work alongside two wonderful assistants who have been with me for fifteen years, supporting our clients through their legal challenges.

I am a 25-year military veteran with a comprehensive background in criminal prosecution, defense, and judicial roles. My proficiency extends to handling wills, trusts, estate planning, and decedent affairs. Additionally, I am a published author and have extensive experience teaching law at an ABA-accredited institution.

I have successfully represented Tennessee injury clients for over 17 years. I have recovered millions for injured persons throughout Tennessee. I am currently married to my wife Amy going on 26 years. We are the proud parents of two grown boys. I am an avid and competitive golfer, poker player and shooter. I graduated from the University of Tennessee College of Law and have over ten years experience as an attorney. In the past, I have been privileged to serve as an assistant district attorney, a special assistant United States attorney, and in 2008 as the command judge advocate for the Victory Base Complex Garrison Comand in Baghdad, Iraq.
