I hail from Clarksville, Tennessee, where I have been practicing law for eighteen years. I am a second-generation attorney, continuing the legacy of legal practice in my family. I am married and have been for sixteen years, and together we have three children. In my practice, I focus on family law, handling cases that range from child custody and support to divorce, orders of protection, and domestic violence. I am fortunate to work alongside two wonderful assistants who have been with me for fifteen years, supporting our clients through their legal challenges.

I have successfully represented Tennessee injury clients for over 17 years. I have recovered millions for injured persons throughout Tennessee. I am currently married to my wife Amy going on 26 years. We are the proud parents of two grown boys. I am an avid and competitive golfer, poker player and shooter. Kevin E. Childress received his undergraduate degree in Business Management from Austin Peay State University in 1991 and received his law degree from the University of Tennessee-Knoxville in 1994. While in law school he was selected to be a member of the moot court debate team. Attorney Childress began his legal career as a Public Defender.
