I am an experienced criminal defense attorney. I have tried twenty-five criminal jury trials involving controlled substances, drugs, murder, rape, robbery, DUI, and assault. I specialize in the criminal, circuit, and general sessions courts of Franklin (Williamson County) and Columbia / Mt. Pleasant (Maury County) Tennessee.

I hail from Clarksville, Tennessee, where I have been practicing law for eighteen years. I am a second-generation attorney, continuing the legacy of legal practice in my family. I am married and have been for sixteen years, and together we have three children. In my practice, I focus on family law, handling cases that range from child custody and support to divorce, orders of protection, and domestic violence. I am fortunate to work alongside two wonderful assistants who have been with me for fifteen years, supporting our clients through their legal challenges.

I practice criminal defense, divorce/family law, personal injury law, and wills/estates in Warren County, TN and the surrounding counties. I graduated from the University of Tennessee College of Law and have over ten years experience as an attorney. In the past, I have been privileged to serve as an assistant district attorney, a special assistant United States attorney, and in 2008 as the command judge advocate for the Victory Base Complex Garrison Comand in Baghdad, Iraq.

I currently practice bankruptcy law at the Nashville, TN office of a regional bankruptcy law firm. I have represented numerous debtors in consumer cases under Chapters 7 and 13, multiple farm cases under Chapter 12, and many business cases under Chapter 11. I have also represented trustees in cases under Chapters 7 and 11. Additionally, I have litigated a substantial number of adversary proceedings, including over a hundred adversary proceedings in a single Chapter 11 case. I'm a graduate of the illustrious Women's College at Brenau University where I obtained a Bachelors of Fine Arts in Arts Management.
