My practice is predominantly consumer bankruptcy and tax law. In addition to being a lawyer, I'm a certified public accountant, this allows me to assist clients with the complex interactions of the law and taxes. I have an undergraduate accounting degree, an MBA and a law degree. I'm in solo practice, I work with my clients directly. You will not be relegated to working with a secretary or an assistant.

I am a business lawyer, and I have been helping businesses resolve the many legal issues they face, both common and extraordinary, since 1990.

My clients range from startups to middle market companies to Fortune 500 companies. I combine an extensive business and legal education with a wealth of hands-on experience to create solutions that are innovative, yet practical and cost-effective. I particularly enjoy tackling issues that are out of the ordinary. Rather than telling my client something can’t be done, I find alternatives, and assess risks so my client can make an informed business decision.

We practice in the areas of real estate, business transactions, commercial litigation, and estate planning. We value every client relationship, and our aspiration is to become your trusted advisors. We have been business owners and real estate developers ourselves, and we have been clients. We have families we want to provide for and to protect, just as our clients do. Robert McNamara initiated his legal career in Uniontown, Ohio, in 1982, after a five-year association with a firm in Akron, Ohio.
